European Mountain Ash

Clusters of cream-white blooms in spring mature to orange-red berries and persist over winter. Dark green foliage turns red in fall. Broadly oval to rounded shade tree. Larger than S. americana. Prefers a slightly acidic, moist, but well-drained soil. Intolerant of wet conditions.
