Sweetgrass

Native, spreading, cool-season grass with bright green blades. Brown inflorescence in late spring which mature to seeds by mid-to-late summer. Extensive use in indigenous culture. Prefers wet to moist, well-drained soils. Intolerant of dry soils. Vigorous once established.
