Pink Pony™ Elderberry

This very ornamental shrub makes a statement in most gardens with its compact, richly coloured deep purple-black foliage, highlighting large, flat clusters of pale purple-pink blooms in summer. If that's not enough, blooms are followed by clusters of burgundy-black edible berries. Does require another "nigra" type like Black Beauty or Black Lace to produce fruit. Great background shrub for larger beds or as a specimen plant. Best in a moist, well-drained soil.
