Cutleaf Smooth Sumac

Red stems and bright green, fern-like fronds turn scarlet-red in fall. Conical red seed-head plumes form in early fall and persist through winter. Suckers vigorously. Does well in poor soils, drought and heat. Great naturalization and reclamation plant.
