Lingonberry

Evergreen groundcover native to Boreal forest. Dark green, shiny foliage accents small, light pink blooms in late spring which mature to bright red, edible berries in mid-summer. Self-fertile. Taste is similar to cranberries. Prefers lower ph. and drier areas in bogs, open slopes and rocky sites.
